Second Town Hall Meeting Report

A second Town Hall meeting was held at CCNC on January 18, 2016, this was a continuous consultation process. Attendance was at 25. The slightly adjusted plan was presented by Jeff Fung. Summary of discussions:

 

-Sufficient storage requirements to be reviewed.

-Meeting and event space requirements to be reviewed

-Does the proposed location allow decorations?

-Food Service- can Chinese food be served at the proposed location. Cost of maintaining/cleaning the kitchen at the current site.

-Cost per program at alternate facility

-The proposed new location would be an interim solution.

-Space of alternative locations not comparable to current CCNC building, this is due to the fact that the committee believes CCNC has too much space and is under utilizing the facility which results in high costs of operation

-Add more members to the current team. List of members (non-directors) interested in participating in the planning was circulated. Ian will contact them. There will be another visit to the BMO centre
